Celebrate freedom, folk music, and local history at the 2nd Annual Peterboro Freedom Folk Festival 🎶
Join us for an afternoon of live music, community, and reflection on Peterboro’s history at the Gerrit Smith Estate National Historic Landmark.
Gates open at 2 pm at the Estate located at 5304 Oxbow Road, Peterboro NY 13134. This event is held rain or shine!

Smithfield Fire Department will be selling food and beverages.
Foothill Hops will be serving adult beverages.
Lawn seating so bring your blanket or your chair.
In order to support our volunteer fire department and a local small business we ask that you not bring outside food and beverages.
Advance sale tickets are $20 and are on sale now, online, until 6/19/2026, and then will be $25 at the gate. Tickets may also be purchased by mail by sending a check made payable to Smithfield Community Association at PO Box 6, Peterboro NY 13134.
Your ticket purchase supports volunteer-powered preservation—helping cover insurance, utilities, and repairs that keep this historic site open, and allows us to share programs such as our Juneteenth program.
