Where's Peterboro?

From Syracuse, follow route 92 through Manlius and on towards Cazenovia. Turn left onto route 20 and follow route 20 to Cazenovia. Continue through Caz to just past the Mirabito gas station, where Fenner road will bear off to the left. Follow Fenner road 9 miles, where it will "T" with Pleasant Valley road. Make a left and follow Pleasant Valley north. The National Abolition Hall of Fame (in the Smithfield Community Center) is on your left, and the Peterboro Green is the next right at either Park St, or Peterboro Rd.

From the Thruway, get off at Exit 34 (Canastota). Make a left and follow Peterboro street south through Canastota. Cross Route 5 and continue south on Oxbow road for 10 miles, through Clockville and up the hill, past the Holstein monument and into Peterboro. The Gerrit Smith Estate Visitor Center entrance will be on your left and the Peterboro Green is the next left at Peterboro Rd.

From the South, come across Route 20 to Morrisville and turn north on Cedar street, which will soon become Swamp road. Continue north, past the Morrisville-Eaton High School, and on to Peterboro. You will enter Peterboro at the east end of the village green. Turn left onto Peterboro Rd and you are in the center of town.
